This evidence demonstrates the political intent of the organization in making such false claims in a utilitarian way. Then the author questions the credibility of the book author whose conclusion is based on “college student papers, bloggers, and non-peer reviewed essay” while 90 percent of published climate scientists reached the consensus on global warming as the result of human activity (Stager). The sharp contrast of the credibility of the two views provides a clear path for the audience to choose which side to believe.
